This podcast series is the result of a process carried out with the women of the project Úrsulas Polifónicas, mujeres libres y sabias (Polyphonic Ursulas, free and wise women). The series consists of five chapters, five protagonists and five life stories from their territories: Galeras, Necoclí, Cali, and Bogotá..
“Carmen, roots and strength” is the first episode. She was born among mountains and street alleys, grew up in a neighbourhood where life was woven by hand. She was a young mother, a worker, a rebel. She fought against fear until she learned to raise her voice. Today she grows healing plants and is part of the Escuela de Mujeres en Escena Bogotá (Women on Stage School in Bogotá).
