SECOND SEMESTER 2024
Issue 6
In this 6th issue, FOKUS Women’s magazine continues to share the reflections of the 18 partners of the programmes in Colombia and Guatemala with its readers. The partner organizations present analyses of the political contexts that open doors to advance the agendas of women in their diversity. Their articles also point out the significant barriers that persist when it comes to ensuring that women, young women and girls enjoy lives free of violence, fully exercise their sexual and reproductive rights, and can live in countries with consolidated peace processes.

SECOND SEMESTER 2023
Issue 5
This is our fifth issue of the FOKUS Women Magazine and it is accompanied by a special moment for our organisation. We are transitioning from a Colombia Country Office to a Latin American Regional Office, which will accompany the organisations and projects we support in Colombia and Guatemala.

SECOND SEMESTER 2022
Issue 4
The women’s organizations supported by FOKUS in Colombia are very hopeful for full compliance with the Peace Accord, especially its gender-based measures. They are also ready to back the creation of a National Action Plan through Resolution 1325, whose thematic lines are in keeping with the new realities of the country. It is no less important to resume talks with the ELN as a concrete step toward total peace.

SECOND SEMESTER 2021
Issue 3
This year has also been marked by the feminist movement’s and women’s struggle and demand for the decriminalization of abortion, which notably draws the participation of young women from the regions and center of the country. We await the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the case to decriminalize abortion and are hopeful that, this time, the Court will heed women, so that they can exercise their sexuality and reproductive rights freely and autonomously.

SECOND SEMESTER 2020
Issue 2
In this second issue of the magazine, we bring together the voices of diverse women—campesina, indigenous, Afro-descendent, young, urban, and working class, all of whom are part of FOKUS’s partner organizations—with our own voices to analyze what has happened during these years of implementation and in the midst of a contingency like the COVID-19 pandemic which has deepened the challenges facing peacebuilding in Colombia.

FIRST SEMESTER 2020
Issue 1
This magazine, which we launch today, seeks to increase visibility of the strength and tenacity of Colombian women, who, through different projects, work with women farmers, indigenous, Afro-descendants, youth, urban, and the grassroots, for a better world for all..
